A delicious focaccia with a twist. Perfect for an afternoon snack or when entertaining.
Prepare the dough by the flour, water, yeast, sugar and oil together. Leave to prove in a warm place. Once risen roll out and add to a baking tray and spread to the edges so they're double the size of the tray. Cover with ham and mozzarella. An extra tip: Sprinkle with fresh oregano before closing and baking.
Step 1
Once the dough is ready, and after letting it prove for about two hours. Use a rolling pin to thinly roll out the dough, so it's twice the length of the baking tray. Cover with the ham and mozzarella slices.
Step 2
Fold the excess dough over to close the focaccia and drizzle it with olive oil.
Step 3
Place the tray into the oven. Select the forced air convection heating function. Temperature: 190°. Cooking time: 25 min.
